About Me
Hi! I’m Milla Kas, a tattoo artist based in Bensalem, PA. Originally from Kyrgyzstan, I’ve been living in the U.S. since 2015 and tattooing since 2016. My style focuses on fine line black and grey work, incorporating botanical elements, micro-realism animals, and geometric patterns, with touches of red ink. My designs are inspired by nature, diverse cultures, and spiritual traditions, creating tattoos that are both delicate and meaningful.
I currently tattoo at Oracle Tattoo Gallery in Bensalem, PA, where I strive to bring each client’s vision to life with precision and artistry. If you’re unsure of what you want, check out my “AVAILABLE” highlight on Instagram — I update it frequently with one-of-a-kind designs that are removed once claimed.
Looking forward to creating something special for you! Thank you, and see you soon!

Preparing Your Skin:
Start moisturizing the area a few days before your appointment, especially if you have dry skin. This helps soften the skin, making the tattooing process smoother and aiding healing.
Make sure:
• You are not pregnant or breastfeeding at the time of your session.
• You avoid sun exposure on the area to be tattooed for at least two weeks before and after your appointment.
• The skin in the tattoo area is healthy, without cuts, eczema, or any form of dermatitis.
• If you have diabetes or any other medical condition, please consult with your doctor before booking your appointment.
• Stay hydrated, well-fed, and well-rested to minimize discomfort.
• Avoid strong coffee, tea, energy drinks, and vasodilators before your appointment. If you have any medical conditions (e.g., diabetes, blood thinners), please consult a doctor beforehand.
• If the area has thick or coarse hair, shaving at home with proper shaving cream is preferred, especially if your skin is sensitive. Otherwise, I can take care of it for you at the studio.
Clothing & Comfort:
• Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the tattoo area. You’re welcome to bring a change of clothes.
• Light-colored clothing (like a white t-shirt) is great for photos, but it’s entirely up to you.
• For hip tattoos, a dress or loose shorts work best. For back tattoos, an open-back top or a zip-up hoodie worn backward makes things easier.
Other Important Notes:
• Feel free to bring snacks, water, or juice, especially for longer sessions. We’ll take short breaks as needed.
• Please arrange for childcare in advance. For safety reasons, children are not permitted during appointments.
Thank you for understanding!
Looking forward to tattooing you—see you soon!
AFTERCARE WITH SECOND SKIN (DERM SHIELD, SANIDERM, ETC.)
Proper aftercare is essential to ensure your tattoo heals beautifully. Please follow these instructions carefully.
Wearing the Protective Film
• After your session, a breathable protective film (such as Derm Shield, Saniderm, or Second Skin) will be applied. This acts as a barrier against bacteria while allowing your skin to heal naturally
• Avoid hot showers, baths, excessive sweating, tight clothing, and scratching while the film is on. A quick, lukewarm shower is fine.
What to Expect
• Over the first few days, fluid buildup (plasma, ink, and lymph) under the film is normal. You may see bubbles forming—do not pop, scratch, or remove the film early unless there is excessive irritation or allergic reaction to the adhesive.
Removing the Film
• Remove the film on the 4th day after your appointment (your tattoo day is Day 1).
• To make removal easier, hold the area under warm water for a few minutes to loosen the adhesive.
• Gently peel the film off by pulling it parallel to the skin—do not rip it off like a bandage.
Cleaning & Moisturizing
1. Wash your tattoo gently using mild, unscented, antibacterial soap (no fragrance or dyes). Use your hands—no washcloths or sponges.
2. If any adhesive residue remains, do not scrub—it will naturally come off over time.
3. Pat the tattoo dry with a clean paper towel and let it air dry completely.
4. Apply a thin layer of a gentle, fragrance-free, petroleum-free lotion. Any unscented, non-greasy moisturizer will work, such as:
• Coconut oil (natural options)
• Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion
• Lubriderm
5. If you’d like to use a tattoo-specific product, Mad Rabbit offers a great selection, including:
• Mad Rabbit Soothing Gel (for immediate post-care hydration)
• Mad Rabbit Daily Tattoo Lotion (lightweight, fragrance-free, and ideal for healing)
• Mad Rabbit Tattoo Balm (for deep hydration after the initial healing phase)
6. If you’re interested in using Mad Rabbit products, use promo code MILLAKASTATTOOS for 20% off your purchase.
But you do not have to use this brand—any gentle, unscented, petroleum-free moisturizer is perfectly fine.
Things to Avoid During Healing
• For 3 days: Avoid alcohol, strong coffee, energy drinks, and vasodilators.
• For 5 days: Avoid intense workouts and sweating.
• For 3 weeks: No baths, saunas, pools, oceans, tanning, or sun exposure.
• Wear loose, breathable clothing made from natural fabrics (cotton, linen) to prevent irritation.
Long-Term Tattoo Care
Once your tattoo is fully healed (typically 3-4 weeks), keep it protected and vibrant by:
• Applying SPF 50+ sunscreen whenever your tattoo is exposed to the sun.
• Moisturizing regularly to maintain skin health and tattoo vibrancy.
Following these steps will ensure your tattoo heals cleanly and lasts beautifully. If you have any concerns during healing, feel free to reach out!
AFTERCARE WITH PLASTIC WRAP (saran wrap)
Proper aftercare is essential to ensure your tattoo heals beautifully. Please follow these instructions carefully.
Initial Care (First 24-48 Hours):
1. Bandage Removal: Within 3 hours of your session, carefully remove the plastic wrap with clean hands.
2. Cleaning: Gently wash the tattoo with lukewarm water and mild, unscented soap (free from fragrance and color). Use your hands, not a washcloth, to clean the area. Pat dry with a clean paper towel or let it air dry.
3. Dry Healing Period: For the first 24-48 hours, keep the tattoo clean and dry without applying any lotion. This allows the skin to begin closing naturally.
Ongoing Care (After 48 Hours):
4. Moisturizing: Once the initial dry period has passed, start applying a thin layer of a suitable moisturizer 2-3 times daily or whenever the tattoo feels dry or itchy. Recommended options include:
• Coconut oil
• Lubriderm
• Aveeno
• If you’re interested in using Mad Rabbit products, use promo code MILLAKASTATTOOS for 20% off your purchase.
• Any other healing lotion of your choice that is petroleum-free and fragrance-free will do
5. Application: Apply a very thin layer of moisturizer; the tattoo should feel hydrated but not greasy. Overapplication can hinder healing.
6. Shedding: As your tattoo heals, you may notice minor peeling or flaking. Do not pick at these flakes; let them fall off naturally to avoid damaging the tattoo.
Additional Recommendations:
• Hydration: Stay well-hydrated and maintain a balanced diet to support the healing process.
• Clothing: Wear loose, breathable fabrics to prevent irritation.
• Sun Exposure: Protect the tattoo from direct sunlight. Once fully healed (typically after 3-4 weeks), always apply sunscreen (SPF 50 or higher) when exposed to the sun.
• Activities to Avoid: For the first 3 weeks, avoid swimming, soaking in baths, saunas, and intense physical activities that may cause excessive sweating.
Pricing
My minimum charge is $200, regardless of size. For most projects, I charge an hourly rate, which may vary slightly depending on the state or county where the session takes place. In some cases, I offer a flat rate, which can be discussed via email or during the consultation.
Frequently Asked Questions
Yes! I offer free 10 to 30-minute consultations either in person or via FaceTime (for iPhone users). I do not use Zoom or other platforms for consultations. While consultations are not always necessary, providing detailed descriptions and references can often eliminate the need for one. However, if you are local or prefer a FaceTime consultation, it is available.
No, I do not send designs beforehand. The design will be presented to you on the day of your appointment. In some cases, I may require a design review before your appointment. If minor adjustments are needed, they can be made during your session.
Absolutely. All work surfaces and equipment are thoroughly protected during the session. I use only disposable, single-use supplies, including cartridges, ink caps, and protective coverings for the tattoo machine. Each sterile cartridge is opened in front of the client to ensure maximum hygiene.
I use certified, high-quality pigments from brands like Empire Inks, Dynamic Ink, and Radiant Ink. These brands are vegan-friendly and cruelty-free, meaning they contain no animal-derived ingredients and are never tested on animals. If you have concerns about allergies, I recommend checking the ingredient lists on the manufacturers’ websites and consulting with a dermatologist before your appointment.
Healing varies for everyone, and sometimes lines may slightly fade. In such cases, a touch-up session can be scheduled if needed. I encourage clients to send me a photo of the healed tattoo about a month after the session so we can assess how it has settled and decide if a touch-up is necessary.
Over time, factors like skin type, sun exposure, and aging can impact the appearance of your tattoo. Modern high-quality pigments do not turn blue, but tattoos may naturally fade or soften over the years. Keeping your skin moisturized and applying SPF 50+ sunscreen whenever exposed to the sun will help maintain its vibrancy.
I don’t use anesthesia and prefer to avoid using numbing creams if possible. If you really need to use a numbing cream make sure it’s not more than 4-6% lidocaine and follow these steps:
1. Take a hot shower before application to open up pores.
2. Apply a thick, even layer over the area to be tattooed- like icing on a cake, don’t rub in! A thin layer won’t be effective.
3. Cover with Saran Wrap and leave it on for 1-2 hours before the appointment. You can arrive with it on, and I’ll remove it for you.
